Map layers

Ground Control App

In the flyzones map, you can turn on different map layers. These layers give a clear picture of what's going on in the area you plan to fly. You can switch between UTM providers for a specific location.

1. Go to the flyzones page

2. In the bottom right corner on the map you see a button with a layers icon.

3. Select the map provider Altitude Angel. Below, the map layer options will automatically show

4. Select the map layers you'd like to see on your flyzones map

NOTAMs

layers are temporary messages created to communicate when something different or special is happening in the airspace

• Municipality layers: layers that show where the land border is

• Waterways layers: layers that show where all rivers are located

• Railroads layers: layers that show where all railroads are located

• Wind turbines layers: layers that show where all wind turbines are located

• Bridges layers: layers that show where all bridges are located

• Power lines layers: layers that show where all power lines are located

• Road layers: layers that show where all roads are located
