AirHub launches worlds first full online SORA Tool
With the Online SORA Tool drone operators can easily perform their risk assessment for operations in the Specific Category and apply for a permit or waiver at their CAA. Applying the Specific Operations Risk Analysis can be challenging, AirHub's Online SORA Tool enables drone operators to quickly determine the Ground Risk Class (GRC) and Air Risk Class (ARC) for mission and helps to define the applicable Specific Assurance and Integrity Level (SAIL) level. The algorithm provides operators with the right information and pro-acti- vely navigates trough all

The Online SORA Tool lets drone operators quickly go through all steps of the SORA pro- cess:
1. Description of Concept of Operations (ConOps)
2. Determination of the UAS intrinsic Ground Risk Class (GRC)
3. Final Ground Risk Class determination (M1 to M3 mitigations)
4. Determination of the initial Air Risk Class (ARC)
5. Application of Strategic Mitigations to Determine intermediate ARC
6. Application of Tactical Mitigations to Determine final ARC
7. Determination of adjacent area / airspace considerations
8. Comprehensive Safety Portfolio considerations (privacy, security and insurance) 9. Determination of Specific Assurance and Integrity Levels (SAIL)
10. Identification of Operational Safety Objectives (OSO) and other requirements
The SORA Tool provides drone operators a custom report that contains all Operational Safe- ty Objectives that are applicable to drone operation and supports operators with fulfilling the requirements for their crew, Operations Manual, drone and equipment. Operators can attach supporting documentation and references and then easily apply for an Operational Authorization at the CAA.
Today the AirHub Online Sora Tool is publicly available after months of intensive testing.
New Features at Dron2Go demo day
On November 23 we demonstrated new features of the AirHub Drone Operation Center at the Drone2Go demo day. We gave this demonstration together with our partners Cape AI, DroneQ Aerial Services and #MDI.
The first new functionality is flying waypoint missions with active obstacle avoidance and direct route calculation to automatically continue the mission. We demonstrated this by flying through an obstacle course set up by Drone2Go.
Our second new feature is an advanced AI plugin for the automatic detection of non- vital trees directly in the Drone Operations Center.

Survey - Fly. Plan. Log.
We at AirHub are very curious about how drone operators work when they fly. The research will focus on which methods drone operators use for drone flying. The survey will take approximately 5 to 8 minutes of your time. The data is processed completely anonymously.
If you have any questions or comments about the survey, please contact us at michiel@airhub.nl. Thank you in advance for completing the questionnaire. All AirHub employees wish you many safe flights.
