We're looking for a Designer to join our marketing team at AirHub and take full visual ownership of how our brand looks, feels, and shows up across every channel and touchpoint, online and offline.
You'll be the creative anchor of our marketing team, designing across the website, campaigns, social media, presentations, event materials, and more. This is a role for someone who loves the craft, producing high-quality design across a wide range of formats, with brand guidelines as your foundation and quality as your standard.
Our mission
Do you want to use your design skills to support people who save lives? At AirHub, you actually can.
First responders save lives every day, but they often lack the right technology to do it as effectively as possible. When someone goes missing at sea, when wildfires spread rapidly, or when emergencies unfold, every second counts. At AirHub, we believe that cutting-edge drone technology can be the difference between life and death.
We are a Dutch software company on a mission to empower first responders and public safety organisations with advanced drone solutions. Our Drone Operations Centre enables seamless mission planning, real-time flight control, live video streaming, and AI-powered object detection, all while ensuring full aviation compliance.
If you are passionate about design that genuinely makes a difference, AirHub is the place for you.
Our team
AirHub currently has 25+ employees (and growing) across product, development, sales, marketing and operations. It is a remote-first start-up environment with a flat structure, short lines, and a team that genuinely cares about what it builds. We take our work seriously, and yes, we do team outings with big drones and camera gimbals.
As our Designer, you'll report directly to the Chief Creative Officer, work closely with the marketing team day-to-day, and have a short, direct line to the people building the product and running the company. Your work will be seen, your opinion will be heard, and your ideas will actually ship.
What you will do
As our Designer, you're not supporting a brand, you're actively building one. You'll own AirHub's visual direction across online and offline touchpoints, working across a wide range of formats and projects:
Website: maintain and evolve the AirHub website in Framer, designing and optimising pages for clarity, credibility, and conversion
Campaigns & landing page: design assets that support marketing campaigns and bring our positioning to life for specific audiences
Social media & content: create visual templates and assets that keep our brand consistent and compelling across platforms
Print & offline materials: design brochures, flyers, and branded collateral that represent AirHub in the physical world
Presentations & sales materials: design decks and offline materials that help our sales and leadership team tell the AirHub story
Events & brand touchpoints: bring AirHub's visual identity to life in event materials, exhibition assets, and wherever our brand shows up in the world
What we are looking for
2 to 5 years of proven experience in design for digital products, marketing, or brand
A strong portfolio showing work across both digital and print formats
Proficiency in Figma or a comparable design tool
Experience working in Framer, or a clear willingness to get up to speed quickly
A strong eye for visual design, typography, and layout
Understanding of conversion-focused design and how design supports business goals
Familiarity with web analytics and the ability to use that to inform your design decisions
A degree or training in design, communication design, or a related field is preferred
What will make you successful in this role
Think visually across formats: from a website hero to an event banner, you understand how to make a brand feel coherent and compelling everywhere
You take real ownership: you treat the brand like it's yours to improve, not just maintain; you bring ideas without being asked and drive projects forward without needing to be chased
You have an eye for detail: you notice the things others scroll past, and you care enough to fix them; quality isn't a bonus for you, it's the baseline
You're comfortable with ambiguity: you can work from a brief, a rough direction, or just a business goal, and turn it into something polished and considered
Have a startup mindset: you move fast, adapt easily, and know that done-and-improving beats perfect-and-late
What you will love about this role
True creative ownership: you won't be executing someone else's vision. You'll be shaping ours, with the freedom to bring your ideas and leave a real mark on the brand.
Variety, not repetition: no two weeks look the same. Website, campaigns, events, social, presentations, the format always changes, and the creative challenges keep coming.
Close collaboration with leadership: you'll work directly with the Chief Creative Officer and have a short line to the founders. No layers, no waiting.
A brand worth building: AirHub is growing fast and the visual identity is actively evolving. You'll help define what this company looks like at scale.
Flat, informal culture with direct feedback and a team that genuinely cares about quality.
25 vacation days and hybrid working from our Groningen base.
