As a USSP, you will need to meet requirements regarding the interface with the CIS and/or ATS provider(s). Also, you need to fulfil requirements for data and information sharing and use specific information exchange models and protocols. To become a U-space service provider (USSP) or common information service (CIS) provider, you need to set up a robust management system and have a solid business plan. Furthermore, a security management system and occurrence reporting system must be developed, as well as an operations manual including a contingency and emergency response plan.
