Archiving a Battery
1.1 Ground Control – Battery Archiving Overview
Before you start:
Archiving a battery helps you keep your active asset list organised while preserving all associated mission and compliance data.
You can only archive batteries from your Admin Workspace or Personal Workspace. This action cannot be performed from within a Team Workspace.
1.2 How to Archive a Battery
Follow these steps to move a battery into your archive:
Ensure you have selected the right Workspace from the Workspace switcher from the Workspace tab.
Then, navigate to the Assets section in the sidebar and expand it.
Click on Batteries to view the full list of all registered batteries.
Click on the name of the battery you wish to archive to open its details page.
In the top-right corner, click the three-dots menu button (⋮).
Select Archive from the dropdown menu.
A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Archive again to confirm the action.
The battery will now be removed from your active battery list and placed into the archived battery records within your workspace.
1.3 What Happens to My Data
Archiving a battery is a non-destructive action, meaning all your data remains safe and accessible.
• Past Missions and Logs are Preserved:
Archiving does not affect your historical data. All flight logs, missions, and related details that used this battery remain available in your records for compliance and review.
• Compliance Integrity is Maintained:
The archived battery will still appear in historical reports and operational records, ensuring no loss of traceability.
• Improved Asset Management:
Archiving older or unused batteries helps declutter your workspace while keeping important data intact for audit and analysis.
