Editing Battery Information

1.1 Ground Control – Battery Editing Overview

Before you start:
Editing your battery information ensures accurate tracking and proper flight log association. Keeping this data up to date helps maintain compliance, supports automated reporting, and ensures your mission records remain reliable.

1.2 How to Edit Battery Information

Follow these steps to update the details of a registered battery:

  1. Navigate to the Assets section in the lnavigation bar.

  2. Click on Batteries to open the list of all registered batteries.

  3. Click on the name of the battery you wish to edit to open its details page.

  4. In the top-right corner, click the three-dots menu button (⋮).

  5. Select Edit from the dropdown menu.

  6. A form will appear where you can update any data fields related to the battery.

  7. Once you have reviewed and verified all updates, Click Save at the top of the form.

  8. Your changes will take effect immediately and the updated information will appear in your asset library.


    Your battery data is now successfully updated and ready for accurate tracking and compliance management.

1.3 Important Notes

Serial Number Accuracy:
The Serial Number is critical for automatic flight logging. It must exactly match the number printed on the physical battery.
Any mismatch can cause flight logs to be incorrectly linked or missed entirely.

Data Verification:
Double-check all details before saving your edits to ensure consistency across reports, flight histories, and maintenance records.
