Connecting to DJI Pilot 2 Cloud API
1.1 Connect AirHub to DJI Pilot 2 Cloud API
Connecting the AirHub platform to the DJI Pilot 2 Cloud API allows your drone, batteries, and telemetry data to automatically sync with your AirHub workspace. This connection ensures that your flight logs, live video feed, and operational data are stored and accessible within your Drone Operations Center.
Follow the steps below to set up the integration correctly:
Open the DJI Pilot 2 app on your remote controller.
From the main dashboard, tap the Cloud Service tile.
Next, press the Open Platform tile.
In the input field, enter the URL: https://dji.airhub.app and press Connect.
Log in with your AirHub credentials when prompted.
Once logged in, you’ll see an overview screen that displays your:
Account details and the currently active workspace.
Drone and controller information, including model and serial number.
Telemetry and livestream connection status, showing whether your feed is successfully linked to AirHub.
Note: Make sure both connections are 'Connected' and have turned green.
Completing this step is essential before performing any operation, as it ensures that all flight data and assets are correctly registered under your account.
1.2 Choose Workspace
Selecting the correct workspace is critical for a successful connection. The workspace you select determines where your livestream, telemetry, and mission data will appear in the AirHub Drone Operations Center.
Follow these steps to choose the correct workspace:
Open the DJI Pilot 2 app and tap the AirHub Cloud Service tile.
Press the Workspace dropdown to view all available workspaces linked to your account.
Select the correct workspace from the list. For example, your Team Workspace if you are operating as part of an organization.
Important:
Make sure that the workspace selected in DJI Pilot 2 matches the workspace that is active in your AirHub Ground Control app or Drone Operations Center.
If the wrong workspace is selected, livestream and telemetry data will not appear where expected.
If you cannot switch workspaces right away, wait for telemetry to connect (this requires the drone to be powered on). Once connected, you can change to the correct workspace and proceed.
1.3 Executing the Mission
After connecting the DJI Pilot 2 Cloud API and selecting the correct workspace, you can begin your mission. This ensures that your livestream, telemetry, and drone activity are tracked in real time within AirHub.
Follow these steps to start your flight:
Create a mission by pressing Fly Here.
Press Start Flight to begin.
Your drone and battery will be automatically added to your AirHub workspace.
Choose AirHub – DJI Pilot 2 with Cloud Service as your operating mode.
You can confirm that your drone is connected by checking the cloud icon in the top-left corner of the camera view in DJI Pilot 2. When the icon is active, the system is successfully transmitting telemetry and video to AirHub.
Important:
Ensure that both the DJI Pilot 2 Cloud Service and the AirHub Ground Control app are using the same workspace. This synchronization is required for accurate data transfer.
Final Step:
After completing your flight, return to the AirHub app to confirm that your flight has been successfully logged and recorded in your workspace.
