How to create a Flyzone

1.1 Ground Control – Flyzones

Before you start:

The Flyzones feature in the AirHub Ground Control app allows you to define specific areas where your drone operations will take place. By marking flyzones, you can plan your flights more accurately, ensure compliance with local regulations, and improve safety during operations.

Make sure you have:
  • Installed the latest version of the AirHub Ground Control app (iOS or Android).

  • Logged in with your AirHub account.

  • Access to an internet connection to load maps and search for locations.

Once ready, follow the steps below to mark your flyzone.

1.2 Ground Control – Flyzones

iOS App

  1. When opening the iOS app, you will automatically start on the Flyzones page.

    • Alternatively, tap Flyzones in the bottom-left corner to navigate there.

  2. Select the location where you want to fly by pressing the Fly Here button on the map.

    • You can also search for a specific location using the search bar at the top of the screen.

  3. On the map screen, tap the Flyzone icon (second icon in the top-right menu).

  4. Use this tool to draw points on the map, defining the area where you plan to fly your drone.

Android App

Marking a flyzone in the Android app works the same way as on iOS.

  1. When opening the Android app, you will automatically start on the Flyzones page.

    • Alternatively, tap Flyzones in the bottom-left corner to navigate there.

  2. Select the location where you want to fly by pressing the Fly Here button on the map.

    • You can also search for a specific location using the search bar at the top of the screen.

  3. On the map screen, tap the Flyzone icon (third icon from the top in the middle-right menu).

  4. Use this tool to draw points on the map, outlining the area where you plan to fly your drone.
