Archive a Drone

When a drone is sold, retired, or out of service for an extended period, you can archive it to remove it from your active fleet list. Archiving keeps your asset list clean while preserving all historical data associated with the drone.

1. Archiving a Drone

Note: You must be in your Admin workspace or Personal Workspace to archive a drone. This action cannot be performed from a team workspace.

Follow these steps to move a drone to your archive:

  1. First, ensure you have selected your Admin Workspace from the Workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar.

  2. Navigate to the Assets section in the sidebar and expand it.

  3. Click on the Drones menu item to see a list of all drones in your organization.

  4. Click on the name of the drone you wish to archive to open its details page.

  5. Click on the three-dots menu button (⋮) in the top right corner.

  6. Select the Archive button from the dropdown menu.

  7. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click the Archive button again to confirm the action.

The drone will now be removed from your active drone list.

2. What Happens to My Data?

Archiving a drone is a non-destructive action. All of your data is safe.

  • Past Missions and Logs are Preserved: Archiving a drone will not affect your mission data. All past flight logs and mission details associated with the drone will remain intact and accessible in your records for compliance and review.
