Adding Drones to Your Asset Library

1.1 Drone Operations Center – Adding Drones Overview

Before you start:
Adding drones to your AirHub workspace ensures they are properly tracked for flight logging, maintenance, and compliance. You can add them automatically (DJI), manually or import them directly from your DJI Cloud account.

1.2 Manually Adding a Drone

Adding a drone manually gives you complete control over the data entered.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the AirHub Drone Operations Center (DOC) and log in to your account.

  2. Select the correct Workspace from the workspace switcher in the top navigation bar.

  3. Navigate to the Assets section in the left-hand sidebar and expand it.

  4. Click on Drones from the dropdown list.

  5. Click the + New button located in the header at the top of the page.

  6. A form will appear. Fill in all required fields for your drone, such as:

    • Make and Model

    • Registration Number

    • Serial Number

    • Registration

    • Firmware Verion

    • Weight

    • Add a photo

  7. Once all details are entered correctly, click Save.

Important:
The Serial Number is critical for automatic flight logging. Ensure it exactly matches the serial number on your physical drone to guarantee accurate log association.

Your drone will now appear in your asset library, ready to be assigned to flights, missions, and maintenance programs.

1.3 Adding Drones via DJI Import

If you are a DJI user, you can import your drones automatically, along with:

• Flight data
• Batteries
• Equipment
• Mission history

This method quickly populates your workspace with existing assets and ensures all records are linked correctly.

1.4 Summary

Adding drones to AirHub allows you to maintain an organized and accurate fleet overview.
Whether added manually or through DJI import, each drone becomes part of your workspace, ready for mission planning, live streaming, and compliance tracking.
