1. The Three Types of Workspaces
There are three types of workspaces, each with its own purpose.
1.1 Personal Workspace
Every user on the AirHub platform has their own Personal Workspace by default.
Purpose: This workspace is intended for individual use. Here you can maintain your personal logbooks, manage your own drones, and plan missions that are not directly part of an organization.
Think of it as: Your private, individual account.
1.2 Organizational Workspace
This is the top-level workspace for a company, government agency, or other organization. It is available on the Business and Enterprise plans.
Purpose: It is the central hub that contains all teams, members, assets, and missions for the entire organization.
Usage: From this workspace, administrators (Admins) have a complete overview and can manage high-level settings, create teams, and invite members.
Think of it as: The main headquarters for your entire organization.
1.3 Team Workspace
A Team Workspace is a sub-component within an Organizational Workspace.
Purpose: Teams are used to group a specific set of members, assets, and missions together for a particular purpose, such as a department (e.g., 'Inspection Team'), a region (e.g., 'North Region'), or a specific project.
Usage: The power of a Team Workspace is that it isolates data. Members of 'Team A' cannot see the missions and assets of 'Team B' unless they are also a member of that team. This ensures a clear overview and enhances security.
Think of it as: Separate departments or project rooms within your main headquarters.
2. Switching Between Workspaces
You can easily navigate between all workspaces you have access to using the Workspace switcher. This is located at the top of the main sidebar. Selecting a different workspace will change your entire view to the context of that workspace, showing you only the missions, assets, and members that are relevant to it.
