How to create a Training

Establishing a robust training and skills program is fundamental to ensuring your team operates safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations. Tracking training allows you to verify that all personnel are qualified for their assigned roles, identify skill gaps, and maintain a clear record of certifications and proficiencies. The AirHub training module helps you formalize this process by creating, assigning, and tracking training requirements for your entire organization.

Creating a New Training

Note: You must have administrative permissions within the organizational workspace to create and manage trainings.

  1. First, ensure you have selected your main Admin Workspace from the Workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar.

  2. Navigate to the Manage section in the sidebar and click on Training and Skills. This will take you to an overview of all existing trainings.

  3. To add a new training, click on the + New button in the header.

  4. A form will appear. Fill in the following details for the training module:

    • Title (Required): The official name of the training or certification (e.g.,"DJI Matrice 350 Flight Training," "Annual Emergency Procedures Review"). This is how the training will be identified in lists.

    • Description (Optional): Provide more detail about what the training covers, its objectives, or any prerequisites for the user.

    • Category (Optional): Group similar trainings together for better organization (e.g., "Regulatory," "Safety Procedures," "Equipment").

    • Select a Role (Required): Assign this training to a specific role (e.g., Pilot, Observer). All members who have this role assigned to them will be required to complete this training.

    • Recurring: Check this box if the training needs to be renewed periodically. If it is recurring, you must select how often it needs to be redone (e.g., every 12 or 24 months).

    • Upload a File (Optional): Attach relevant documents for the user, such as a course syllabus, a blank certificate template, or study materials.

  5. Click on the Save button to save your newly added training.

Your new training is now created and will appear in the training overview. Now you are able to start tracking the completion of this training for all members assigned the selected role.
