Adding and Editing Drones in the Ground Control Android App
1.1 Adding and Editing Drones
Before You Start:
You can add drones to either your Personal Library or your Team’s Library.
Make sure you have the correct permissions to add or edit drones in your selected workspace or team.
1.2 Add a New Drone to Your Personal Library
Follow these steps to add a drone to your personal library:
Open the Ground Control Android App.
Tap Library from the bottom menu.
Select Drones.
An overview of your drones will appear. If you haven’t added any drones yet, this list will be empty.
Tap the plus (+) icon in the upper-right corner.
Fill in the required information:
Name
Manufacturer
Model
Registration Number
Serial Number
Firmware Version
Weight (kg)
Tap Save to add the drone to your personal library.
1.3 Add a New Drone to Your Team’s Library
Follow these steps to add a drone to a team library:
Open the Ground Control Android App and go to Library.
At the top of the screen, switch to the Teams tab.
Select the team you want to view.
All tabs for the selected team will appear. Select Drones.
An overview of all drones in the team library will open.
Tap the plus (+) icon in the upper-right corner.
Fill in the required information:
Name
Manufacturer
Model
Registration Number
Serial Number
Firmware Version
Weight (kg)
Tap Save to add the drone to the team library.
1.4 Edit a Drone
Open the Library in the app.
Select Drones and open the drone you want to edit.
Tap the pencil icon in the upper-right corner.
Update the drone information as needed.
Tap Save to confirm your changes.
1.5 What Happens Next
Newly added drones will immediately appear in your personal or team library.
Edited information is updated in real time and linked to the drone’s logbook, flight records, and maintenance history.
Saved changes are synced across your account, ensuring compliance and accuracy across all operations.

Regularly update drone details such as firmware version or registration information to ensure compliance.
Add drones to your Team’s Library when multiple operators need access to the same asset.
Archive drones that are no longer in use instead of deleting them to preserve historical flight and maintenance records.
