How to: archive Members from the Organizational Workspace

When a team member leaves your organization or no longer requires access, you should archive them. Archiving a member revokes their access to the workspace and removes them from active lists, while preserving all their historical data for your records. This ensures your logbooks and mission histories remain accurate.

Archiving a Member

1.1 Drone Operations Center – Member Archiving Overview

Archiving a member in AirHub is a controlled process designed to maintain the integrity of your organizational records while removing the member’s access to your workspace. Before performing this action, please review the important considerations below.

1.2 Important Notes Before Archiving

Effect of Archiving
Archiving a member immediately revokes their access to the workspace.
The member will no longer be able to log in or participate in any team activities.
All of their historical data—such as their name on flight logs, training completions, and mission assignments—will be preserved for compliance and recordkeeping.

Reactivating a Member
Archiving is reversible. If you need to restore access, simply invite the member again using their original email address. Their AirHub account will automatically reconnect with their historical data.

Last Admin Rule
You cannot archive a member if they are the last administrator of a team.
Assign a new admin to that team before proceeding.

Last Member Rule
You cannot archive the final member of a team.
If you wish to remove the final member, you will need to archive the team itself.
For more information, see our guide on managing teams here.

1.3 How to Archive a Member

Follow these steps to safely archive a member from your workspace:

  1. Select your Admin Workspace from the Workspace switcher.

  2. Navigate to the Manage section in the sidebar and click on Members.

  3. From the list, check the box next to the name(s) of the member(s) you wish to archive.

  4. Click on the Archive button that appears in the header.

  5. A confirmation dialog will appear.

    • To proceed, click the Archive button again.

The selected member(s) will immediately be moved to the archive, and their access to the workspace will be revoked.

1.4 Summary

Archiving a member removes their access without affecting your organization’s operational data.
All flight logs, training records, and historical data remain securely stored, ensuring your compliance records stay complete and traceable.
Members can always be reactivated later by reinviting them using their original email address.
