1. Configuring Automatic Deletion

Note: You must have administrative permissions within an organizational workspace to enable or disable this feature.

Follow these steps to enable and configure the automatic deletion of media files:

  1. First, ensure you have selected your main Admin Workspace from the Workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar.

  2. Navigate to the Manage section in the sidebar.

  3. Click on the Organization menu item.

  4. Select the Settings tab.

  5. Click on Automatic Delete media to open the configuration options.

  6. A form will appear. To enable the feature, click the toggle for Automatically delete media.

  7. Set the timeframe by entering the number of days you wish to keep media files. All uploaded media will be automatically deleted after this period has passed.

2. Important Considerations

Please take note of the following rules when using this feature:

  • Grace Period for Existing Media: When you first enable this setting or change the retention period, a grace period is applied to prevent immediate data loss. All existing media, regardless of its age, is guaranteed to be kept for at least the full new retention period starting from that moment. For example, if you set a 30-day retention, media older than 30 days will not be deleted instantly; it will be deleted 30 days from now.

  • Deletion Time: After media is automatically deleted by the system, it can take up to 24 hours for the files to be fully removed and for the storage space to be updated.
