How to record a livestream

Recording a livestream allows you to capture important moments from your live operations for later use. This is essential for creating a video record for debriefings, evidence collection, compliance documentation, or for creating promotional or training materials. The recording feature lets you capture specific segments of a live feed directly to your AirHub Library.

How to Start and Stop a Recording

Note: To record a livestream, you must be viewing a Live Operations session (either an Active Flight or a Custom Session) and have an active video feed displayed on your screen.

  1. From the Live Operations view, find the active video feed you wish to record.

  2. Hover your mouse over the video feed to reveal the control menu.

  3. Click the Record (circle) icon to begin recording.

  4. A red indicator and a timer will appear, showing the duration of the current recording.

  5. To end the recording, hover over the video feed again and click the Stop Record (square) icon.

Where to Find Your Recordings

After you stop the recording, the video file will be processed and saved to your workspace's library.

You can find it by navigating to Library > Files and clicking on the Recordings tab. For more details, see our guide: Where to Find Your Livestream Recordings.
