Live Operations

The AirHub Live Operations module is a powerful tool for real-time situational awareness. Its primary purpose is to provide a live, centralized view of your ongoing drone flights to your entire team, regardless of their location. This allows managers, stakeholders, and remote team members to monitor a mission as it happens, view the drone's live video feed, track its position on a map, and communicate with the pilot in the field. This real-time oversight enhances safety, improves team collaboration, and enables faster decision-making during critical operations.

An Active Flight is a live session that is automatically created when a pilot begins a planned mission using the AirHub Ground Control app. This feature allows administrators and team members to monitor a drone's real-time position, telemetry, and live video feed directly from the Drone Operations Center. It's the standard way to maintain situational awareness and provide remote oversight for all your planned operations.

Custom Sessions are persistent, multi-user dashboards designed for real-time operations. Unlike automated "Active Flights" that are linked to a specific mission, Custom Sessions give you full administrative control to create a Common Operational Picture (COP), manage multiple live feeds, and securely share this view with internal teams and external stakeholders. This guide covers the complete workflow, from creating a session to collaborating in real-time.

Recording a livestream allows you to capture important moments from your live operations for later use. This is essential for creating a video record for debriefings, evidence collection, compliance documentation, or for creating promotional or training materials. The recording feature lets you capture specific segments of a live feed directly to your AirHub Library.
