Before you begin, ensure the following:
A pilot has started a flight that is linked to a mission in AirHub.
The drone and controller have a stable internet connection to stream the data.
You have the necessary permissions to view flights for the relevant workspace.
Accessing the Live View
From the main sidebar in the Drone Operations Center, click on Live Operations.
The Live Operations will open, displaying a map and a list of all currently active flights on a side panel.
Click on an active flight from the list to focus on that specific drone. The video feed and the map with location of the drone will be shown.
Understanding the Live Flight View
The Live Operations screen is divided into several key components to give you a complete picture of the flight.
The Video Feed
The central part of the screen is the video feed of the drone, where you can see:
Battery Level (percentage and voltage)
GPS Signal Strength and satellite count
While viewing the feed, you also have the option to record segments of the livestream. For a detailed guide, please see our article: How to Record a Livestream. You can typically resize this panel or make it full-screen for a better view. On the video feed it displays the drone's critical flight data in real-time, including:
The Map View
Use the Map
Click on Map in the header to open the map in the main panel.
Click the Map button again to close the map and return to the video grid view.
The drone's real-time position, represented by an icon showing its heading.
Relevant mission data, such as planned waypoints or defined flyzones.
Any annotations or map markers that were added during the mission planning phase or during in-flight phase.
The Active Flight session will automatically end when the pilot completes the flight. The full flight log and any recordings will then be processed and saved to the mission's permanent record.
