Mission Options

1.1 Ground Control – Mission Options

Before you start:

Each mission in AirHub can be managed or adjusted through several available options. These allow you to edit, duplicate, or archive a mission directly from the Ground Control app or the Drone Operations Centre (DOC).

Mission options are found by opening a specific mission and pressing the three dots in the upper right corner of the mission planner. The available options differ slightly between Ground Control and DOC.

1.2 Mission Options in the Drone Operations Centre (DOC)

  1. Edit
    • Opens the mission in edit mode, allowing administrators to adjust details or correct data before final approval or archiving.

  2. Print (PDF)
    • Generates a printable PDF version of the mission, including all relevant details such as flight area, assigned team, and status.
    • This option is useful for compliance checks or maintaining hard copies for record keeping.

  3. Export KML
    • Exports the mission flight area and waypoints in KML format for use in other GIS or mapping tools.
    • Ideal for sharing flight areas or analysing flight data externally.

  4. Archive
    • Moves the mission out of the active overview while preserving all related records.
    • Archived missions remain visible in historical data for auditing or reference purposes.

1.3 Summary

Mission options provide flexibility for managing operations across AirHub’s platforms. Whether you are editing a mission on-site in Ground Control or preparing compliance documentation in the Drone Operations Centre, these tools help you maintain efficiency and traceability throughout the mission lifecycle.
