Accessing Maintenance in the Ground Control App

Before You Start

The Maintenance section in the AirHub Ground Control app provides quick access to your organization’s maintenance programs.
While basic navigation is handled within the app, all maintenance programs and details are managed directly in the AirHub Drone Operations Center (DOC).

This integration ensures that you always view the most up-to-date information for your drones, batteries, and other assets, regardless of which device you are using.

1.1 Navigating to Maintenance

Follow these steps to access your organization’s maintenance program:

  1. Open the AirHub Ground Control app on your device.

  2. Use the navigation bar at the bottom or side of the screen.

  3. Tap on the Workspace tab.

  4. In this view, you will see several options related to your workspace management.

  5. Tap on Maintenance.

Once selected, you will automatically be redirected to the AirHub Drone Operations Center (DOC).

1.2 Viewing the Maintenance Program in DOC

After being redirected, the Maintenance section will open inside the DOC environment in your default mobile browser.
Here you can view the full overview of your maintenance programs, including:

  • Scheduled maintenance tasks for drones, batteries, and other equipment.

  • Due and completed inspections.

  • Assigned technicians responsible for specific programs.

  • Maintenance records and history for compliance purposes.

This view is identical to what you see on desktop, ensuring consistency across all devices.

1.3 Why Maintenance Access Is Redirected

The Ground Control app is designed for operational use in the field, focusing on flight execution, logging, and mission management.
Maintenance planning, tracking, and record-keeping involve more detailed administrative functions, which are best managed in the DOC.

By redirecting you to the DOC:

  • You always see the most current maintenance data stored in your organization’s workspace.

  • You can perform full maintenance management actions, such as creating or archiving programs, adding technicians, or editing schedules.

  • The data remains synchronized between desktop and mobile environments without requiring duplicate updates.

1.4 Next Steps

If you need to create or update a maintenance program, you can do so directly in the DOC interface after redirection.
